Waxing, tweezing and shaving are painful and time-consuming methods to remove hair and not effective for large areas such as the back, chest, arms and legs. In addition, these methods are typically short-lived with stubble returning in just a few days. We have a better solution….Laser On, Shaver Gone!
At Optimal Male Performance Center we offer an effective, long lasting hair removal treatment utilizing the Inverso Long Pulsed 1064nm Laser that is fast, comfortable and effective for hair removal on all parts of the body.
The focused heat energy is absorbed by the hair follicle which causes thermal destruction and results in long-lasting hair loss. An additional advantage of the high energy and long pulse is minimal surrounding tissue effects such as scarring or alteration in pigment.
How many treatments are necessary?
Because hair follicles are in an active growth cycle at various times, multiple treatments are recommended to achieve optimal results. On average, between 4 and 6 sessions will provide excellent results. Of course the actual number of treatments to provide optimal long-term benefits depends on many factors such as hair thickness, the hair’s growth cycle and the body area being treated. There is no laser hair removal system available that provides 100% hair removal, however you should expect at least a 90% reduction in hair. And unlike the widely used and outdated IPL technology for hair removal, the Long Pulsed 1064nmND:Yag, utilized at Optimal Male Performance Center works on all skin tones and hair colors and is much faster than the IPL, so treatment sessions take less time. The Long Pulsed 1064nmNd:Yag laser represents the gold standard in hair removal. No other laser on the market is as effective as the Nd:YAG.
At the Optimal Male Performance Center we not only want to offer great results… but we also want to make your treatments as comfortable as possible. For this reason we offer multiple anesthetic options such as topical anesthetic creams and continual air cooling for a comfortable hair removal experience.
